Pat Hayes (Feb. 10th) Great revelation... Know the devices (thoughts) of Satan... the power of suggestion that can persuade even an apostle (Peter) to desire a relationship with Christ outside of the cross. How much more should we be aware of bringing every thought into captivity so as to avoid the subtilty of religion.
Pastor Kellough (Feb. 14th) What starts out as sincere worship towards God can turn into idolatry if the object of worship becomes our own abilities. So often what God has given us to make Him great in the earth becomes perverted by pride, and we instead wind up making ourselves great. Help us Lord to stay humble and faithful stewards of all that You've entrusted to our care.
I just wanted to post what I received from the message-Prophet Brent preached Sunday. I really enjoyed the message. I always type as it comes in and out of my mind. (scary I know, lol) Here goes....
Truth spoke to Truth inside of me, like the sun-rising at midnight....So many great things were spoken...A Lamb slain before the foundation of the world-A way of escape before I ever got into sin, but more importantly before it ever got into me...I'm complete in Christ. Jesus is the finished work that God began my salvation with!! A new beginning in me, with a finish work. So that everything Love set out to accomplish is so.... The two sons are not satisfied-The faithful Heart is shown through the father's love. Both sons do the math, however the Father has the correct answer.... We are the Mercy seat, and we have the opportunity to gather many under our wings!...In, through, and by us!!... Irresponsible grace is at the expense of others. (How are we that are dead to sin, live any longer therein???? Shall we sin that grace abound-GOD FORBID)Grace is the empowerment to rise above sin. Because Grace is our Identity!.... Seeing ourselves through our own eyes is the Civil war waging in the midst of a sewer of thoughts. Where I see my failings-appetite and capabilities. The war within Who am I? ....If there are only two men. Then two women. (at the grinding mill between only two stones.) Adam & Christ. The woman from each of their sides. & Black and White Stone. Praise you Jesus, The White stone has been pulled! I have but one Lover in my bed, and I am His Bride. His Beautiful Garden! ((A Renewed thinking.)) Where the dead man isn't lying in the bed. Where one is taken and the other left....When I begin to think about a finished work inside of me it brings me to a performance, and yet its not based on my performance. No longer performing for love, learning that the performance is His coming from love. Because faith is accompanied by works... Mercy for my Past and Grace for my future. Loving from and through that which is within. Love Never Fails... It doesn't become about modifying the other man(after all he is dead), its the understanding that It Is Finish. Christ in me the hope of Glory. Not Kristy and how well she performs. I don't have to work for His Love. He started Kristy by putting a Finished Christ inside of me, that had already defeated the Hell that at times has roamed inside. Everything I hated about myself - He -became- it for me when He died AS me. Now AS Christ we do the math. Through our substance. Inwardly is my determining factor. Being illuminated from the Inside out.... The Butterfly was the caterpillar. All along the caterpillar had a perfected butterfly inside!!...I think about the woman at the well and her 5 husbands. Mercy & Grace for everything she had married herself to. And now she's with the 6th-Adam and Jesus says the one you are with now isn't yours. My God. She came with her water pot(who she was), and left with Who He was! She Did the Math - One was taken and the other left! I'm what He chooses to look like. The two men in one bed is seeing yourself as something other than who you are In Christ. and I am complete in Christ. Anti-Christ ~veiling the Hope of Glory inside of me. That's really good. And its against Christ because Christ doesn't think of ourselves as we have at times.... It was never about our flaws, it is about a relationship with Him. We see something that He doesn't, because He sees Himself.... The equation of my hurts and abuse isn't the focal point, For such a long time we ignored that things were there, and so when we admit they are we study the (equation)(light affliction) when the answer is already known. It doesn't compare to the glory He wants to reveal in, through, and by Me! All things work together.... I think you did a fantastic job, Brent. So much more could be said from the message, but I'm not sure how much space I have so I will end by saying, I started doing Math today!!
Thank you Kristy for your input it has touched my heart. I did not get to hear Brent and what you have said about it has touched my heart and helped me with some things. I have the DVD of the message and I will watch it and hold inside what you have said. Thank you
